Welcome to Day 20 of the Postbox Designs 30 Day Design Challenge…I’m super excited about this day’s mini make-over project! It’s the right mix of simple things that = a big impact. What better time than spring (or almost spring like it is here in Michigan), than giving your front door some love? We gave it a pinch of love back on Day 18 when we looked at replacing your front door mat or rug. But today we are going all the way to show our house we care. If you have ever sold a house, you will know your realtor told you about first impressions.
So…what type of impression does your front door make to you and your guests?
If your door needs a bit of a boost, I’m here to help today! I love this makeover because each little step is super simple. Most of the items on the list cost around $50, and require very little skills to install. But overall, the impact is huge. This is sort of a recipe for a front door makeover:
New paint or stain
Front door knocker
Door mailbox (not shown)
Lighting fixture
Address numbers
Some type of urn or pot for flowers
Front door mat (see Day 18 HERE for ideas)

Address Plaque Urns Sconce Knocker Paint: Hawthorne Yellow
Here are a few more beautiful front doors that I would want to come home to:
