Hi friends! It is Day 22 of the Postbox Designs 30 Day Design Challenge! And this is one I have been looking forward to for awhile now. I’ll be honest, I threw in today’s Challenge for me. I am happiest when my house is organized. When clutter is put away I can breathe. I can live with a dirty sink, or a floor that needs to be mopped, but when I am stepping around toys and yesterday’s dirty clothes, my heart starts to beat a little faster. And NOT in a good way.
My kiddos are 4, 6, and 8. Old enough to get their clothes into the hamper. One would think anyways. It is still a fairly common mantra to hear Mom say “Clothes in the basket!”. So maybe I should help them out. What if I gave them a super cute clothes basket that they just could resist? Well, even if it doesn’t work, at least it’s pretty to look at!
These pretty little laundry baskets are cute enough to keep out instead of hiding away in a closet. In fact, some of these could totally work as toy storage too! (See Day 4 if you missed my round-up of cute kid’s toy storage!) Sometimes just a little thing can make a big difference!
Are you a DIY expert? This is an ADORABLE kid’s laundry bag! I just want to eat them up!
Or this sophisticated DIY look, over at The Heathered Nest, she has a GREAT tutorial for this rolling toy storage, but I think it would totally work as a laundry basket as well:
