Inside your Postbox you will find everything you need to re-create your new, custom design from home! Order it all at once and put your room together in just a few hours. Or, order piece-by-piece as your schedule and budget allows. Here is a peek inside of a Postbox! This client had a “builder basic” room that they wanted to convert into a sophisticated formal living room.
Every Postbox contains TWO* versions of your space to give you even more options! You can choose either version or mix and match. *Only one 3D Perspective is included
A Floor Plan. It shows the “bird’s eye view” of your room with dimensions. The floor plan shows how all of your furniture is laid out. It also includes notes about installation.
A Mood Board. This project has four Mood Boards to be exact! It shows every piece of furniture, accessories, paint, and materials I have selected for the room. It gives you an overall feel or “Mood” of your room, along with letting you see your pieces grouped together. Each piece has a number, and coordinates with your Shopping List. If you go to the corresponding number on your Shopping List, it gives you all of the information for that piece. When possible, I include the actual material samples in your Postbox. In this case, I included the chair, ottoman, and sofa upholstery, paint samples, and a sample of their new flooring.
This Mood Board below shows materials 31 and 32 for the client’s BONUS IDEA that I suggested. They have an outdated brick fireplace, so I suggested covering over it with ship lap siding, painting it white, adding a rustic barn beam mantle, and a new fireplace screen. This mini project can be done DIY by the homeowners or hired out as a simple handyman job. When you “Like” my Facebook page, I automatically include a free BONUS IDEA in your Postbox! It is an idea that doesn’t have to be done, but puts your space over the top!
A Three-Dimensional Perspective. This page is usually my client’s favorite! I use professional design software and use your exact pieces I selected for you to create a mock-up of what your room would look like in real life. It takes away the pressure of trying to imagine what everything would look like together. All of the pieces are shown to scale and in their selected finishes and fabrics. Now, this client can really imagine what their new room will look like!
Here is a fourth Mood Board for this space. The client’s existing room has a niche in it, and I suggested using this odd space to create a bar in their new living room! This Mood Board shows all of the pieces I am suggesting for their new bar area. For example, I show wallpapering the back of the niche, and #23 shows them the wallpaper I selected.
Here is another Perspective, this time of the new bar area. Each drawing is labeled with the area or room, so the homeowner can immediately tell which space they are looking at.
Notes and Tips. A client told me this was the most helpful part of her Postbox. I include Notes about installation and why I chose certain fixtures just for you. I also include Tips for placing your new items. If applicable, I include Tutorials in this sections, such as “How To Create A Gallery Wall”.
A Shopping List. I hand select every item for your new room. Then I include a copy of the entire Shopping List (this just shows the first of three pages of this client’s room) in your Postbox. It has the source, description, quantity, and price. I only choose your selections from stores where you can buy yourself. No “to the trade only” stores, or designer mark-ups! If an object comes in multiple finishes, I specify that. A client may love a piece I selected, but prefer it in a different color. This lets you know about extra options. I also send you an electronic copy of this Shopping List via email. It has the direct link to each object, so all you have to do is “click” to take you right to your item!
Here is the actual Postbox this client will receive from Postbox Designs! It is chock full of goodies like drawings and samples to make this Living Room come to life!
