Hello, and I’m so glad you are here to check things out at Postbox Designs Interior E-Design! And if you have been hanging with me for a bit, you’ll know I’m extra excited to share today’s project with you because kid room designs are hands down my FAVORITE rooms to design. Today I’m sharing a jungle kid bedroom design with you that you are going to L-O-V-E.
When this little man’s parents reached out to me with help designing their son’s bedroom, I was jumping at the chance. They wanted a modern, neutral look, and requested a bedroom design that fit the Montessori style.

And with a jungle theme settled on, everything else was set into a palette of tans/gray/and whites. These modern jungle animal prints (#4) are the big artwork focal point as well as this sweet neutral map art (#3) and canvas inspirational banner (#9). But my favorite part of this room is this adorable little felt elephant (#7) that is mounted on the wall.
Modern Kid Bedroom Design
The other big part of the room is a day bed (#10) for guest bedroom sleeping and fun play/reading nook spot for their son. So I loaded it up with neutral modern pillows (#11-14). This modern sconce (#8) gives extra lighting for his reading nook.

And as the final twist, it was important to them to have Montessori style toys and items for their son. So I found some sweet, neutral wooden toys to work into the space.
More Kid Bedroom Design Ideas
And because I can’t get enough of kid room designs, I have a couple more to share with you! I hope you can get some great inspiration for your own kiddo’s space. Or feel free to explore the BLOG for even more design ideas!
Floral Girl’s Bedroom Design
I loved working on this girl’s bedroom design because it is so unapologetically feminine. It is all flowers, pink, sparkle, tufting, and gold. If there was ever a bedroom that could use a pink squirrel table lamp-this was it!
Dinosaur Boy Bedroom Design
And we are sharing one for the boys! (P.S. This design can totally rock for a little girl bedroom too!). It is modern and neutral and oh so fun. I had a dinosaur loving son myself, so this was an extra fun project for me to work on.
A big thanks for hanging with me today, and for sharing in my love for all things kid design! You can check out more about how this whole Online Interior Design process works right HERE!
Cheers,
Kristin
